Betsson Acquires Rhino Entertainment’s Canadian B2C Assets

Betsson has finalized the acquisition of Rhino Entertainment Group’s consumer-facing operations in Canada. The transaction incorporates the CasinoDays brand into the company’s existing portfolio in the region.

The agreement transfers the customer base, licenses, staff, and operational infrastructure from both Ontario and the wider Canadian market to Betsson. Under the terms disclosed in March, the total consideration amounts to €64.5 million. The payment structure consists of an initial €51.25 million installment, with the remaining balance payable six months post-closing.

Technology and Financial Outlook

Beyond the consumer brand, Betsson secured Rhino’s proprietary front-end and middleware technology. The company intends to utilize these assets to enhance its B2B services and drive licensing revenue through its technology division. The acquired Canadian segment generated an estimated pro forma EBITDA of €13.7 million during the 2025 period.

Betsson currently manages the Betsafe brand in Ontario, while the newly acquired CasinoDays brand holds licenses in both Ontario and Alberta. Following the closing of the transaction, Betsson AB shares closed at SEK 92.00 in Stockholm, representing a 0.27 percent decline.
