Prediction market platform Kalshi has asked Netflix to withdraw a promotional trailer for an upcoming documentary. The request follows the platform’s review of the 56-second preview, which is scheduled to accompany the film’s release this Sunday.The documentary belongs to Netflix’s Instadocs series and focuses on the operations of prediction markets. Kalshi’s teams identified specific segments in the preview that they consider inaccurate.
The company’s notice cites fabricated documents and misleading statements as the primary reasons for the withdrawal request. Netflix has not yet issued a public response regarding the trailer’s status ahead of the scheduled premiere.
