Rank Group Forecasts Stronger Annual Results and £76m Operating Profit

Rank Group Plc has announced that its full-year financial results will exceed market forecasts. The company expects underlying operating profit of at least £76m for the fiscal year ending June 30.

Revenue Growth and Segment Performance

The group projects a 6% year-on-year increase in net gaming revenue to £834.1m. Digital operations contributed significantly, with revenue estimated at £248.5m, an 8% rise despite higher Remote Gaming Duty. Grosvenor Casinos remains the largest revenue generator, forecast to reach £397.3m, while Mecca Bingo and Enracha venues in Spain are expected to generate £143m and £45.3m respectively.

Operational Updates and Regulatory Settlement

Grosvenor venues saw a 12% rise in gaming machine revenues during the fourth quarter, supported by the installation of 850 new terminals following expanded casino allowances. The Spanish division reported a €7.1m payment fraud in December 2025, which has been reported to law enforcement. Management noted that cost savings in marketing and headcount helped secure the quarterly performance. A £5m provision has been included in the 2025/26 accounts regarding a settlement with the Gambling Commission over Grosvenor’s license. Richard Harris, the permanent CEO, stated that the profit outlook reflects progress in the growth plan despite tax and cost challenges. Full results are scheduled for release on August 13.
